About Me

My name is Gabrielle and Im a volunteer babywearing educator for Babywearing International. I co-founded the Cleveland Chapter for babywearing International. We have now grown to over 400 members and have 4 leaders. I'm a teen mom from a small town in north-east Ohio. I follow an attachment parenting lifestyle with my son and I love every second of it. I cloth diaper, co-sleep, delay vax, baby-lead weaning, extended breastfeeding, and especially babywearing among many things.  Although I have nothing against parents that do not parent this way, I have found that this is what is best for us.  In my spare time I love to read, crochet, sew, garden, DIY things, hunt, camp, and fish (really anything outside). I try as hard as I can to be the best mom I can be while also trying to be as environmentally conscious as well. I believe everyone has an obligation to take care of the space in which we live.

My world revolves around my little monkey man Jackson. He has given me so much love and joy to my life. He has brought me so far on my journey to finding God again and I don't think I would have ever come this far without him. He has truly saved me. Jackson fills a spot in my heart that had always been missing. If you were to meet Jack you would instantly have a smile on your face. He has the cutest little smile and laugh and you couldn't help but fall in love. He has a crazy love for bananas, eggs, jumping, and cats.

I am with an amazing man whom I'm lucky enough to be able to call mine. He's my bestfriend and absolutely amazing with my son. He is truly an amazing man.

We have four furbabies. Our two dogs, Sadie who is 9 and Caliber who is almost 1, are a handful to say the least. Sadie is older and sleeps most of the day but Ive never seen an animal shed as much as her. Whenever I go outside to brush her the yard is literally covered in hair. Caliber, our puppy whos almost a year old, refuses to potty train. Jackson was easier to potty train than this dog. Our cats, Coconut who is 9 and Thomas who is 3 months, are something else. Ive had Coconut sense she was a kitten. I got her when I was in fifth grade and she has been my bestfriend ever sense. I dont know what I would do without her. Jackson named Thomas, who is a girl, after his current obsession Thomas the train. She is more like a dog than a cat. Her and Caliber ruff it out all the time. Which is scary to watch (shes a pound and a half and cal is a German Shepard) but she holds her own amazingly well.
